About Little Lawndale in the Park
Little Lawndale in the Park is an annual community event designed to celebrate the vibrant cultures of North & South Lawndale by gathering neighbors in Douglass Park. The event provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to connect, experience local entertainment and art, engage with community organizations and businesses, and enjoy the park as a central community resource.
The first year will feature live performances by local youth groups, musicians, and artists with connections to the Lawndale neighborhoods, also featuring a non-profit and artisan vendor area, food trucks and more.
Location: Douglass Park Flower Hall & Formal Gardens
At the corner of Ogden and Sacramento in Douglass Park
Date: Saturday September 6th
Time: 12pm - 7pm
